Urban Trend Tattoos

Tattoos! An art form of self expression through inking of one's body! I have 5 myself, all of which have a meaning. From lil Wayne to Busta Rhymes, it seems to be a popular thing amongst the hip hop community. I stopped "inking" myself about 2 years ago, but I'm always thinking of what I should get next. Some are expressions of love others of hate. What ever way you look at them tattoos are a big part of fashion and culture today. What do you think about tattoos? Are you for them? Maybe you're against them? Show me some pictures the coolest one I see will get posted along with recognition! Tell me your reason for your tattoos. All 5 of mine have a reason. The most important to me being the Flaming Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ right over my heart. I had it copied from my grandfathers funeral card right onto my chest. Let me know what you think. KANYE WEST

I'm sure most of you already know Kanye West is mostly responsible for the huge switch in Hip-Hop's fashion trends. From huge over sized jeans and 4X tee shirts to fitted straight leg jeans and form fitting tees and cardigans. I think the change was long overdue and I applaud Mr. West for starting the movement. The greatest thing is you don't need millions to copy the image! Well if your trying to compete with Kanye's Louis V collection then you're on your own lol. However his more simple fashion sense I like to call "The 80'z Baby Look" is alot cheaper to keep up with. From cool printed tee's to skater sneakers its really not that difficult to follow. As you can see here for under $250 U.S. you can achieve the same look as the Louis Vuton Don himself. Well except for the glasses they are imported from Italy "Techno Super Futures"they'll run you about $750. You can get a knock off pair for around $20 =) . I went to Cafe Remy ( http://remyloungenyc.com/ ) in Brooklyn last night. I didn't have a chance to take a few snap shots. Sorry i dropped the ball on that one lol! However the fashion was crazy last night from the best to the worst it was all there. The atmosphere was very live and it's a great place to be on a Friday night! Ladies I stress this to you with the utmost importance, if you are huge and sloppy please! I repeat PLEASE! do not wear tight clothing and or belly shirts. Belly shirts and tube tops are meant for people with out bellies! So if your packing a basketball or bigger keep it hidden. Other then that the heels and dresses were fresh to death last night. Big shout to the dude in the white tee black vest jeans and a fedora. He was most definitely killing it last night. I will try to get some pictures that my friends took to post them up later on.
